Vegetable glycerin is an organic compound that acts as a humectant. When expertly formulated into hair care products, it attracts moisture from the atmosphere and binds it to the hair shaft. Moisture is super important for the natural curl because our hair type has fewer hair cuticles than other hair types and tends to be dry.

Well-hydrated hair resists breakage, makes hair more elastic and helps your curls and coils “pop.” Hydrated hair also looks more vibrant and feels softer.
